YAAYA は、沖縄島北部の森を歩きながら自然を味わい、その土地に息づく歴史や文化にも触れられるガイド付きハイキングを提供しています。選び抜いたルートを車でサポートしつつ、景色のポイントはイラストを使ってやさしくご紹介します。

YAAYA offers guided hiking experiences in the rich forests of northern Okinawa(Yanbaru). We carefully select hiking routes, provide vehicle support alongside the trails, and explain the region’s scenic spots with illustrations, so that you can discover the long-standing history and culture of Yanbaru.

＜History of YAAYA ＞

私は、YAAYAを運営している山田浩幸と申します。

I am Hiroyuki Yamada, the founder of YAAYA.

私は、沖縄本島最北端・辺戸岬の向こうに広がる与論島で、1961年に生まれました。

I was born in 1961 on Yoron Island, just across the sea from Cape Hedo at the northern tip of Okinawa.

熊本大学院で電子情報工学を学び、光通信機器やセンサーモジュールの開発・マーケティングに30年近く携わってきました。

I studied Electronic and Information Engineering at the Graduate School of Kumamoto University, and have spent nearly 30 years working in the development and marketing of optical communication devices and sensor modules.

2016年に沖縄県名護市へ移住し、2017年やんばるの自然ウォーキングを案内するガイドを目指してYAAYAを企画しました。

I moved to Nago, Okinawa in 2016, and in 2017 I began planning YAAYA with the goal of becoming a guide for nature walks in Yanbaru.

辺戸岬観光案内所で6年間、親しみやすく丁寧な観光案内に努め、やんばるの自然や風土の魅力を来訪者にお伝えしてきました。
その間、ガイドの準備のために沖縄本島を巡り、森を歩き、博物館で学び、多くの人々の話に耳を傾けてきました。

I worked at the Cape Hedo Tourist Information Center for six years, providing friendly and attentive guidance and introducing visitors to the nature and cultural heritage of Yanbaru.
During that time, I traveled across Okinawa Island to prepare for guiding—exploring forests, studying in museums, and listening to the stories of many people.

2025年9月に辺戸岬観光案内所を退職し、2026年春に「やんばる案内屋 YAAYA」を開業。やんばるの自然や歴史、文化の魅力をご案内しています。

ツアー途中、ご要望に合わせてミニ解説を行います。
