YAAYAは、やんばる案内屋の略称です。
YAAYA is our short name for やんばる案内屋(Yanbaru Annai Ya).
やんばる案内屋は、沖縄島北部の豊かな自然をハイキングで体感し、やんばるの歴史や文化に触れて頂けるよう、ハイキングコースを選定し車で伴走サポートを行い、景勝地で図解しながら解説するサービスを提供します。
YAAYA offers guided hiking experiences in the rich forests of northern Okinawa(Yanbaru). We carefully select hiking routes, provide vehicle support alongside the trails, and explain the region’s scenic spots with illustrations, so that you can discover the long-standing history and culture of Yanbaru.
私は、YAAYAを起業した山田浩幸と申します。
I am Hiroyuki Yamada, the founder of YAAYA.
I was born in 1961 and graduated high school on Yoron Island.
I studied Electrical and Information Engineering at Kumamoto University and its graduate school.
Throughout my career, I was mainly involved in the development and marketing of optical communication devices and sensor modules.
In 2016, I moved to Nago City in Okinawa with the goal of becoming a Yanbaru tour guide.
In 2019, I have started YAAYA, and I had worked as a friendly and knowledgeable staff member at the Cape Hedo Tourist Information Center.
At the same time, I traveled across Okinawa Island to prepare for guiding—exploring forests, studying in museums, and listening to the stories of many people.
I left the Cape Hedo Tourist Information Center in September 2025 to focus on starting YAAYA and supporting the guide business run by Kunigami Village residents.
