やんばる案内屋は、沖縄島北部の豊かな自然を歩きながら体感し、歴史や文化に触れて頂けるハイキングコースをご案内するサービスを提供します。
YAAYA offers guided hiking experiences in the rich forests of northern Okinawa(Yanbaru). We carefully select hiking routes, provide vehicle support alongside the trails, and explain the region’s scenic spots with illustrations, so that you can discover the long-standing history and culture of Yanbaru.
私は、YAAYAの山田浩幸と申します。
I am Hiroyuki Yamada, the founder of YAAYA.
私は、沖縄本島最北端・辺戸岬の向こうに広がる与論島で、1961年に生まれました。
I was born in 1961 on Yoron Island, just across the sea from Cape Hedo at the northern tip of Okinawa.
熊本大学で電気情報工学を学び、光通信機器やセンサーモジュールの開発・マーケティングに30年近く携わってきました。
I studied Electrical and Information Engineering at Kumamoto University and spent nearly 30 years working in the development and marketing of optical communication devices and sensor modules.
2017年に、沖縄県名護市でやんばるの自然を案内するガイドを目指してYAAYAを企画しました。
In 2017, I launched the concept of YAAYA in Nago City, Okinawa, with the goal of becoming a Yanbaru nature guide.
辺戸岬観光案内所で6年間、親しみやすく丁寧なスタッフとして働きました。
その間、ガイドの準備のために沖縄本島を巡り、森を歩き、博物館で学び、多くの人々の話に耳を傾けてきました。
I worked for six years as a friendly and knowledgeable staff member at the Cape Hedo Tourist Information Center.
During that time, I traveled across Okinawa Island to prepare for guiding—exploring forests, studying in museums, and listening to the stories of many people.

2025年9月に辺戸岬観光案内所を退職し、2026年春の開業に向けてYAAYAの準備に専念しています。
I left the Cape Hedo Tourist Information Center in September 2025 to focus on preparing YAAYA for its opening in the spring of 2026.
