YAAYA Comfort Hikes In Northern Okinawa Island, World Nature Heritage
新年明けましておめでとうございます。Happy new year.
今年も沖縄本島の最北端の観光案内所から、ヤンバルの観光やイベントが楽しめるよう情報を発信してまいります。Information on sightseeing and events in Yanbaru will be issued from the northernmost tourist information center on the main island of Okinawa.
2020年の初日の出は、雲の隙間からのご来光でした。The first sunrise of 2020 at Cape Hedo, the sun came from a gap in the cloud.
辺戸岬に来られる皆様の交通安全をお祈りしました。We prayed for the traffic safety of everyone coming to Cape Hedo.

10月から宜名真漁港で日干しされたフーヌイユ（シイラ）が、今日(11/24)の祭りで売られています。今年2019年も宜名真漁港でフーヌユ祭りが開かれています。毎年好評で飛ぶように売れるので、売り切れが心配でしたが、無事一袋を入手しました。秋でも強い日光の中、地元の出店やステージの周りに数百人が楽しそうに語らっています。フーは、幸運の方言なので、今夜酒とともに幸を頂こうと楽しみです。
Funuyu (dolphin), which has been sun-dried at the Gina fishing port since October, is sold at today’s festival. It is a very popular every year, so I was worried about selling out, but I got one bag safely. Hundreds of people are talking happily around the several resident’s stores and the seats of stage in the strong sunshine. Fu is a lucky dialect, so I’m looking forward to have it with sake tonight.

11/16 長野から親子三人様一行と、日帰り沖縄の北巡りツアーをしました。朝9時名護市を出発でして美ら海水族館、HeartRock(写真)、古宇利大橋（写真）、ゆいゆい国頭（昼食(写真)と買い物）、辺戸岬、山原クイナ生態観察、山原工芸店、山原ファーマーズ（買い物）で夕方6時名護着。天気が良く古宇利大橋や辺戸岬で絶景がみれました。
11/16 Northern one day trip with a family of parents and a daughter. Departure Nago city at 9:00 am, Churaumi Aquarium, Kouri bridge (photo), Yui Yui Kunigami (lunch and shopping), Cape Hedo, Okinawa Rail ecological center, Yanbaru Craft Shop, Yanbaru Farmers (shopping), arrived Nago city at 6:00. The weather was good, and the superb views were seen at Kouri Bridge and Cape Hedo.

今日は、宜名真にフーヌユの祭りの準備を見てきました。
地区の皆さんが、和気あいあいと作業を進め、30m以上のフーヌユーの乾燥を行っていました。
天気が良ければ、二日ほどで干しあがるそうです。まかないのフーヌユーの刺身と天ぷらが、とても美味しかったです。特に、シーカサーと唐辛子のきいた醤油だれは絶品でした。
